1, Basic characteristics
UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is a linear polyethylene with a molecular weight typically between 1 million and 6 million, much higher than ordinary polyethylene (HDPE/LDPE). Its unique molecular structure endows it with excellent comprehensive performance.
2, Core performance
wear resistance
The wear resistance ranks first among plastics, 7 times that of carbon steel and 4 times that of nylon, making it suitable for high friction environments.
impact resistance
The impact strength is twice as high as polycarbonate, and it maintains toughness even at low temperatures (-40 ºC).
self-lubrication
Low friction coefficient (0.07-0.11), close to PTFE, no additional lubricant required.
chemical stability
Acid and alkali resistant, organic solvents (except strong oxidizing acids), can resist most corrosive media below 80 ºC.
