Nylon Advantages:
1. Exceptional Mechanical Strength and Toughness: Our nylon boasts remarkable tensile and compressive strength, surpassing that of metals in specific tensile power. While its rigidity doesn't quite match metal, its tensile strength nearly aligns with yield strength, and it is over twice as robust as ABS. With extraordinary impact and stress vibration absorption, its impact strength exceeds that of typical plastics and even outperforms acetal resin.
2. Superior Fatigue Resistance: Our nylon retains its original mechanical strength even after repeated flexing, making it ideal for applications in environments demanding high fatigue endurance, such as escalator handrails and contemporary bicycle plastic rims.
3. Excellent Heat Resistance: Featuring a high softening point, our nylon can withstand elevated temperatures, such as those experienced by nylon 46 and high crystalline variants, which endure long-term use at 150 degrees. With glass fiber reinforcement, the thermal deformation temperature of PA66 exceeds 250 degrees, making it perfect for high-heat applications.
4. Superb Wear Resistance and Low Friction: Our nylon's smooth surface and minimal friction coefficient underpin its wear resistance. These properties provide self-lubrication and low noise in mechanical components, eliminating the need for lubricants in low-friction scenarios. When lubricant use is necessary for friction reduction or heat dissipation, options like water, oil, or grease are effective, ensuring extended service life as a transmission component.
5. Impressive Corrosion Resistance: This nylon resists alkalis, most salt solutions, weak acids, oils, gasoline, aromatic compounds, and common solvents, though it is not resistant to strong acids and oxidizers. Its resilience against gasoline, oils, fats, alcohols, and alkalis, paired with its robust anti-aging properties, makes it ideal for packaging materials of lubricants, fuels, and more.
