Extruded Nylon 6 (PA 6) - Natural (white)/Black:
Provides the best combination of mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness, mechanical damping properties and wear resistance. These properties, together with good electrical insulation and chemical resistance, make extruded nylon 6 a "universal" grade for mechanical construction and maintenance.
MC Nylon 6 (PA 6) - Natural (Ivory)/Black:
Unmodified cast nylon grade 6 exhibits very similar properties to nylon 66. It combines high strength, stiffness and hardness with good creep and wear resistance, thermal aging properties and machinability.
MC Nylon 6 + Oil filled (PA6 + oil) - Green:
This internally lubricated cast nylon 6 is truly self-lubricating. Oil filled MC Nylon 6 has been developed for non-lubricated, high load and slow moving parts applications, greatly expanding the application possibilities of nylon. This is because it reduces the coefficient of friction (up to -50%) and improves wear resistance (up to X 10).
Nylon 6 + MOS2 (PA6 + MoS²) - Grey black:
The addition of molybdenum disulfide makes the material harder, harder and more stable in size than nylon 66, but results in a loss of impact strength. Nucleation of molybdenum disulfide results in improved crystal structure that enhances bearing and wear properties.
Nylon 6+ GF30 (PA 6-GF30) - Black:
Compared to raw nylon 6, this 30% glass fiber reinforced and heat stabilized nylon grade provides superior strength, stiffness, creep resistance and dimensional stability while maintaining excellent wear resistance. It also allows for a higher maximum. Service temperature.
Nylon 66: This material has higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than extruded nylon 6. It also has better creep resistance, but its impact strength and mechanical damping capacity are reduced. Very suitable for machining on automatic lathes.
